This sander can be used as a primary sander for soft floor coverings such as cork and parquetry. When a weighted collar is added to this orbital floor sander, it becomes the ideal sander for external timber decks even if there are dome head nails securing the timber boards.

It is also designed to perform the final sand after using a drum floor sander and before coating the floor as well as providing light sanding for in between coats.
