2020 The Year That Was…
2020 was a rollercoaster of a year in all senses of the word. Covid-19 impacted everyone – and still is. Centenary Hire managed to continue as normal last year, with a few small adjustments!
Here’s a quick overview of some of the new acquisitions we made, as well as a few items we upgraded to meet customer needs.
You’ll be pleased to know our 4-1 bucket attachment for our Kanga Mini Loaders has been upgraded with a small increase in cubic meter capacity. If you need to scrape, grab, backfill or carry, this is the tool you need.
‘M’ Class Dust Extraction Vacuum Cleaners
The M Class dust extraction vacuum cleaner is a brand-new addition to the catalogue. It is small but very powerful, and you can use it with our high-speed floor and surface grinders if you’re working with concrete.
This 5.8m scissor lift is great for outdoor use and has been added to our catalogue for 2021. Hire this one if you are working in a tight turn space – you’ll get a custom-built trailer to use too.
Our 30kg demolition hammer was upgraded last year. It now hits harder with fewer vibrations, which makes it a lot more comfortable and less noisy to use. Hire this if you need to break up concrete slab or footings. A transport trolley is included in the hire price.
If you need to hire an excavator that first between gate posts, our 1.7T compact excavator was upgraded last year. It is now more comfortable in the operator’s cab and it comes with a tilting hitch for increased bucket versatility.
We added a power broom to the catalogue in 2020. This handy tool will make short work of spreading sand when laying artificial grass. You can also use it to clean up driveways and cobbles.
Hydraulic Rock Grab Attachment
This handy tool will make easy work of moving rocks and piles of rubbish. Use it when you are excavating a site or building a retaining wall.
Our new sleeper grab is useful clamping device, which can be used to pick up and place concrete sleepers. The manual function jaws mean this can be used with an array of earthmoving machinery and is useful if you are doing groundworks.
